At A Seat At The Table, we firmly believe that black women deserve friendships they don’t have to heal from. This event is a manifestation of that belief, offering a safe and supportive environment for women to come together, forge meaningful connections, and nurture sisterhood bonds. This is a part 2 of our last event, The Safe Space: Sisterhood Heals. We will host a panel discussion on friendship, provide moments of connection, and hear from a grief counselor around the hardships of grieving lost friendships.

A Seat At The Table presents “Sisterhood At…” as an opportunity to recognize and honor women of color creating waves, breaking down barriers, and effecting powerful change within Greater Indianapolis. We are shining a spotlight on women diligently working in the shadows and creating impact in their area of interest. Honorees will be recognized for their servitude, tenacity, and fortitude as women taking charge and implementing change.
For 2024, we are back with Sisterhood At The Conservatory featuring Indy’s newest venue – The Conservatory At Evergreen. This lush 23-acre hidden gem offers serene trees and foliage with a panoramic view of their peaceful lake.
The attire theme for this year is “Melanin Cocktail Chic.” We invite all guests to dazzle in their finest melanin-infused cocktail attire. Come celebrate our history and lean into black luxury, excellence and philanthropy. There will be food, music, cocktails, and much more. We can’t wait to see you there.
